This Privacy Policy explains how AI Generation Oy ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind the Aigen Studio service, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use Aigen Studio. We are the data controller for the processing described here.
AI Generation Oy, business ID 3365357-7, Selkämerenkatu 12 B 34, 00180 Helsinki, registered in Finland. For any privacy question or request, contact contact@aigen.fi.
Aigen Studio audits and helps improve websites — SEO, content, competitor insight, and social presence — including optional, read-only connections to Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and optional connections to Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, and LinkedIn company pages or your own LinkedIn profile, and X (formerly Twitter) accounts, that you authorize. These social connections can be used to select business assets, publish content, and retrieve post-performance information where those features are enabled.

Aigen Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained from Google Search Console and Google Analytics is used only to provide and improve user-facing features within Aigen Studio; it is not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to others except as necessary to provide the service, with your consent, or as required by law. Humans do not read this data except where you grant permission for support, where required for security or to comply with law, or where the data has been aggregated or anonymized. You can revoke our access at any time in your settings or via your Google account.
When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, Aigen Studio uses the access granted through Meta only to provide the connection, publishing, account-selection, and performance features you choose. We do not sell Meta Platform data, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to build unrelated profiles about individuals. We process it in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and applicable Meta developer policies.
Facebook and Instagram connections are for business assets: Facebook Pages and Instagram Business or Creator accounts supported by Meta's APIs. Meta controls which assets and permissions are available, may require an Instagram account to be linked to a Facebook Page, and may revoke or restrict access independently of Aigen Studio.
The canonical step-by-step instructions live on our Data Deletion page. In short: disconnect Facebook and Instagram individually in Aigen Studio under Settings → Social connections (this deletes the locally stored connection credential); withdraw the underlying authorization in Meta's own settings (this is necessary until provider-side revocation is available directly in Aigen Studio); and email contact@aigen.fi from your account email to have all Meta-derived data deleted or irreversibly anonymized, confirmed to you by email.
Disconnecting or deleting data in Aigen Studio does not delete content already published on Facebook or Instagram. Manage or delete that content through the relevant Meta service. Removing the Meta authorization does not by itself delete other content you created in your Aigen Studio workspace.
When you connect LinkedIn, Aigen Studio uses the access you grant only to provide the connection, publishing, and page-analytics features you choose. We do not sell LinkedIn data, use it for advertising or ad targeting, disclose it to third parties for their own purposes, or combine it with data from other sources to build profiles about individuals. We process it in accordance with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, the LinkedIn Marketing API Program terms, and LinkedIn's data-storage requirements.
You choose what the connection posts as: a LinkedIn company page you administer, or your own LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn controls which pages and permissions are available and may revoke or restrict access independently of Aigen Studio.
LinkedIn sets maximum storage periods for data retrieved from its APIs, and Aigen Studio enforces them automatically with a daily job — you do not need to request this:
Content you create in Aigen Studio — your drafts, your post text, your images, and the record that you published — is your own data and is not affected by these periods. It stays until you delete it.
Disconnect LinkedIn in Aigen Studio under Settings → Social connections; this deletes the stored credential and your LinkedIn identifier for that connection. Withdraw the underlying authorization at LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services. To have all remaining LinkedIn-derived data deleted, email contact@aigen.fi from your account email; we delete or irreversibly anonymize it and confirm by email. Deleting data in Aigen Studio does not remove content already published on LinkedIn — manage or delete that on LinkedIn itself.
When you connect X, Aigen Studio uses the access you grant only to publish the posts you choose, to show which account is connected, and to read the public metrics of posts published through Aigen Studio. We do not read, store or analyse other people's posts, profiles, followers or timelines; we do not use search, filtered stream, or any listening or monitoring endpoints; we do not read or send direct messages; we do not sell X data or X actions; and we do not use X data to train machine-learning models. We process it in accordance with the X Developer Policy and the X Developer Agreement.
Reposts of other people's content are deliberately excluded when we read your timeline, so another person's post text is never copied into Aigen Studio.
X does not set a fixed maximum storage period. Instead it requires that anything we store stays consistent with X, and Aigen Studio enforces that automatically:
The record that you published something through Aigen Studio — your draft, your text, your images — is your own data and stays until you delete it, even after the post itself is gone from X.
Disconnect X in Aigen Studio under Settings → Social connections; this deletes the stored credential and your X identifier for that connection. Withdraw the underlying authorization at X under Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps. To have all remaining X-derived data deleted, email contact@aigen.fi from your account email; we delete or irreversibly anonymize it and confirm by email. Deleting data in Aigen Studio does not remove content already published on X — manage or delete that on X itself.
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security. We do not use advertising cookies. Where required, any non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements, and only as needed to run Aigen Studio:
These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and are not permitted to use it to train their own models. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
When you connect or publish to a third-party platform, we also exchange the minimum data needed to perform your request with that platform. For Facebook and Instagram this means Meta Platforms, Inc. and its relevant affiliates. Meta processes that data under its own Privacy Policy and service terms; Meta is not our sub-processor for its independent operation of Facebook and Instagram. For LinkedIn this means LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and its affiliates, which process that data under the LinkedIn Privacy Policy and their own service terms; LinkedIn is likewise not our sub-processor for its independent operation of the LinkedIn platform. For X this means X Corp. and its affiliates, which process that data under the X Privacy Policy and their own service terms; X is likewise not our sub-processor for its independent operation of the X platform.
We aim to store and process data within the European Union/EEA. Some sub-processors (for example, certain AI model providers), as well as independently operated connected platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and X, may process data in countries outside the EEA, including the United States. Where we are responsible for such a transfer, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or an adequacy decision. You can request more information about these safeguards using the contact details above.
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Provider access credentials are retained while the corresponding connection remains active and are deleted from the active connection record when that channel is disconnected. Meta asset identifiers, published-post references, and performance history are retained with the workspace until they are no longer needed for the feature, the workspace is deleted, or a valid deletion request is completed, subject to legal retention requirements. Data retrieved from LinkedIn is additionally subject to the shorter, automatically enforced maximum periods set out in section 7. Data retrieved from X is kept only while the corresponding post still exists on X: if a post is deleted or made private there, we delete our copy of it and its statistics, as set out in section 8. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below).
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of credentials and tokens. Provider credentials are stored using authenticated encryption at rest and are not returned by our API to workspace users.
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, contact contact@aigen.fi. You can disconnect Google in your settings, which revokes our Google token. For Meta, follow the disconnect and deletion instructions above; for LinkedIn, the LinkedIn disconnect and deletion instructions; for X, the X disconnect and deletion instructions. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Aigen Studio uses AI to generate analyses and recommendations, but these are proposals. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means; meaningful actions are reviewed and approved by you.
Aigen Studio is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
